Day 3: Our Vision: Real Life

South Ridge Church exists to provide people with the opportunity to experience real life, real relationships, and real purpose through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

We strongly believe that everybody wants and needs real life and that real life is experienced exclusively through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  Therefore, we encourage people to take information about God (caught and taught) and turn it into intimacy with God.

“My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” (John 10:10b, NLT)

“And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.” (John 17:3)

What questions or thoughts came to your mind as you read through this passage today?

In what ways has God given you a rich and satisfying life? (John 10:10b)

PRAYER: On your own, take the opportunity to pray for your children or another loved one. The following outline may be helpful.

Four Prayers for Your children or children that God has placed in your life:

  1. Thank God for the miracle of the children God has placed in your life.
  2. Thank God for any way in which these children have changed your life.
  3. Commit these children’s future to the Lord.
  4. Ask God for help in figuring out how you may best guide and lead them.
